Are there any valid free online paid survey websites that are approved by www.bbb.org (the better business bu?

i used to belong to one then my computer got a virus (from another site) it paid 1.00-5.00 per survey done and I lost the info when my computer was repaired?

Are there any valid free online paid survey websites that are approved by www.bbb.org (the better business bu?
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

The article "Earning Money from Surveys" provide a short list of legitimate market research firms and contains explanations of what to look for when joining surveys (and weeding out the fraudulent ones)

Reply:I was a business owner. Do not expect that them being a member of the BBB is a complete protection against spam. Most of these sites are HYIP schemes or adware scams as you have already found out. If you want to get paid for something like that I suggest you check the psychologhy and biology departments of local universities. They often pay for surveys and other fun little things, and they are absolutely legit.
Reply:Kaleena Lynn, There are a few, very few, legitimate survey opps such as Luth Research, how-ever the reality is if you can even find them you will be awarded insignificant points that can't be cashed in until you hit certain levels and that is nearly impossible. One person wrote me they'd been doing surveys for over two years and make enough money to pay for their internet. I tried the survey thing and quit 2 months ago because I was just flooded with e-mail. Here's my proof, go to yahoo mail sign in page, enter opinionated wayne as the username and overwhelmed as the password, you will see approximately 34,000 e-mails that have come in in only two months. My final bit of advise is that people on this site will send you links, they're trying to recruit because recruitment is a huge part of most scams, therefore before you get involved in anything you should thoroughly research it on the web and check it out at http://ripoffreport.com .
Reply:American Consumer Opinion is good online paid survey site, and it has been aproved by the BBB. I would not be overly concerned with BBB, just make sure the site you join is a true market research firm. PineCone Research, GlobalTestMarket, and Opinion Outpost are other good online firms just to name a few.
Reply:Oh no, I signed up for those and I never get money, just a bunch of emails. Good luck. I would like to know myself.
