In my opinion, there are good online jobs available. Over the last 2 years I have been working online as a virtual customer service rep for a credit card company. It’s honestly a very easy job---I mainly answer e-mails, add features and address general inquiries. Insidious





If I can give one piece of advice though when looking for an online job---NEVER pay a start up fee to join a work at home company or directory. Very few legitimate companies will require you to pay them in order for them in turn to pay you. It defeats the point! Moreover, there are plenty of free sites available! :)





Depending on your skill set---there is a huge range in employment opportunities you might be interested in, both part time or full time—anywhere from data entry and transcription services---to virtual customer care---to writing articles/product reviews to webpage design.

I've been doing paid surveys for several years now, and they are NOT all scams. Some of them are for sure, but others are not. If you want some reccomendations on which sites are good, send me a message or IM or something and I'll tell you which sites I have been using successfully.
Reply:It's a very common misconception that EVERY paid survey site is a scam.





It's easy to think this when 99% of the so called paid survey sites out there are just a scam.





Most paid survey sites are setup as a front for collecting people's personal information or to direct visitors to affiliate offers that only benefit the sites owner.





Trust me, it's not easy to find the VERY BEST paid survey sites that will ACTUALLY pay you! I think it took me about 3 years to start getting paid for surveys consistently.





And honestly, if I would have spent all the time I spent searching on something productive, I probably would have made more.

The fact is that there are so many survey sites in internet who actually charges a registration fee. I tell you what, run as far as you can, if they ask you money to join their survey site.
