What is this paid surfing on the internet and paid surveys? Are these really good to sign up for?

i always keep getting these emails that get paid for surfing on net or take surveys and get paid. Does all this really works or is it just junk?

This is a big scam. The least that will happen is you will be spammed like crazy. Some of this could lead to identity theft or having your banking / credit card information stolen.
