Any paid survey companies that are legitimate?

I would like to work from home and think filling in surveys would be a good idea but it seems they all want money to register which makes me a bit reluctant. Are any of them genuine??

Any paid survey companies that are legitimate?
Yes, there are a lot of genuine companies out there, but it normally takes time to build up enough points etc to get the money, therefore if possible, you want to look at registering with quite a few to maximise the money potential. I don't think that it is a good idea to rely on paid surveys as a 'work from home' scheme though as I personally don't think you will be able to make enough money out of it.

Some companies pay out up to £5 per survey, but these are fairly few and far between! Most pay out less. Also, look for what sort of payments they make - some pay by BACS, some cheque, some in vouchers.

It's really worth having a separate email account for online surveys too as some really unscrupulous companies have been known to harvest emails and sell them on, meaning you drown in a deluge of spam!
Reply:www.valuedopinions.com isn't bad, but you'll never make more than pocket money out of it and they pay you in vouchers, not cash.

And do you really want to spend your days telling people what you think of their new plan to market fish-flavoured ice cream via text message?!
Reply:CIAO UK is pretty much the only one I've ever actually made any money off, though usually lucky only to get £10 - £15 a year off them. http://www.ciao.co.uk/reg.php?AffiliateI...

They also pay you for doing product reviews, etc in addition to sending you surveys - but they are the only place I've actually MADE money online, rather than blown it in 7 - 8years of using the internet.

All the other UK paid online survey sites merely enter you into a Sweepstake to potentially win some money.

some others I've tried are:

http://www.yougov.com

You may want to use a seperate e-mail account for signing up for them, as you also seem to end up getting a fair bit of spam / special offer e-mails after signing
Reply:There are many survey programmes , but practically you have to wait..

well i have one more link its not like survey but you can earn, just by completing free offers

This may be right choice to work from home
Reply:I'm going to offer a detailed explanation about surveys being legitimate and if its a good idea and maybe why you feel reluctant will be answered here.

In the United States in general, six million families with children—46 percent of the total low wage-earning families with children—currently receive all of their earnings from minimum wage. 79% are adults and 59% are women.

If minimum wage is averaged out to 7 dollars and 25 cents an hour before taxes... Then how much is your time worth an hour?

Definitions of legitimate and surveys:

Legitimate -

1. Being in compliance with the law; lawful: a legitimate business.

2. Being in accordance with established or accepted patterns and standards: legitimate advertising practices.

3. Based on logical reasoning; reasonable: a legitimate solution to the problem.

4. Authentic; genuine: a legitimate complaint.

Surveys -

1. A detailed inspection or investigation.

2. A general or comprehensive view.

3. A gathering of a sample of data or opinions considered to be representative of a whole.

You have to decide how much your time is worth to you in order to get a 10 dollar or 30 dollar check for 200 hours of work stretched out over a 60 to 90 day period after you have spent the 29.95 to join a survey site after a trial period, which leaves you minus, with a total of 1 dollar or just 10 dollars.

Conclusion:

Logically all of those families earning minimum wage would be doing surveys instead of showing up at menial jobs just to put bread and butter on the table.

You have to do many many surveys to get paid.
Reply:there are many many surveys that promise to be free but you will soon reallize that you have to sign up with the sites to get any money and the only thing that is free is the "free trial" in which you will have to pay at a later time.
